Once lived a man in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria named Ajadi. Ajadi was a wise young man in his community during his day. He was the best contributor to the development of humanity everywhere he found himself.
After he finished his educational program with distinction during his 20s, he had been waiting for the day he will secure a good job. He wrote various letters to different companies and even to private schools.
So unfortunate, he was not able to secure a job. Being a rational thinker, he always said to himself "It's all about time, when my time comes, I am sure to be a successful person." He believed he could become whatever he dreamt of becoming.
Although his means of surviving is working as an apprentice under a caterer, he believed he could get a better job just with his certificate and experience, so, he continued to write application letters as always.
One day, after a lot of rejections, he sat on the floor leaning on the wall of his room, thinking about what else he could do after all his failed efforts. He was not able to think anymore after some time, then he took out his phone from the right pocket of his pant. And then logged in to Facebook.
Just at that moment, he received a message from an unknown man saying,
"Good morning! My school needs a competent teacher as of now, and I have been thinking of whom is fit to handle the job, of course, it was only you after my conclusion."
As if he had been waiting for the message, he quickly replied without knowing the identity of the sender.
"Good morning. How do I go about it?"
Shortly after much talk on the job, the unknown man gave him the address to the school where he was working and told him to come there the following day with an application letter and be prepared for a different interview, while Ajadi who was the happiest that day, did not even care about who it was.
On the next faithful day, he washed up and dressed in his best shirt, trouser and shoe, then he headed to the school. He arrived at the school at exactly 7: 20 am waiting for the interviewer to arrive, as he believed that punctuality is the soul of business.
After some minutes, the interviewer arrived, and he welcomed him. During the interview, he was asked various questions about teaching, teacher, and learner, and most especially, he was told to show the school what he had for it and its pupils with 10 minutes of micro-teaching. And it was a success in the end.
After the interview, he was congratulated and was given the job. It was at that time he realised he was missing something and that was the person that referred him to the school. He then took a walk to get acquainted with the school environment as he entered class by class.
After a short walk, he saw a familiar face that he had seen during his college days in class and the person appropriately. While he turned his back trying to move to the next class, the teacher called him back and asked him,
    "How did you get here?"
"I was informed that this school needs a teacher and I applied," Ajadi replied as he turned his face back to the teacher.
The teacher then asked him who referred him and he said he did not know who the person was, but he owed that person a big thank you.
The teacher smiled and told him that the person that informed him about the school was him. To his surprise, he asked politely
"What have I done for you and how did you know I am fit to do the job?"
The teacher then told him he had been waiting for a day to repay him the favor he had received from Ajadi during his last year in college and thank God, he had seen the day.
The teacher proceeded, and said, "If not for you, I would have used an extra year in college."
Ajadi, not knowing what to say for a while keep mute.
"I won't tell you what you did to help me but all I want to tell you is, continue doing good as long as you are alive," said the teacher.
Ajadi —coming back to his sense— then said,
"So, it is true that one good turn deserves another. This is how I became successful at last."
